You can help save the Cortez Hill community from greedy developers

It is important to include your name and your home address because they are your representatives. They need and want to know who you are.
In your own words, why do you oppose more building on this historic block?
Suggestions:
-
The beauty of this San Diego treasure should be respected for future generations to enjoy. Today it looks much like it did in 1927.
-
The Agreement Affecting Real Property (the covenant restricting further building on this block until after June 30, 2025) should be kept in place.
-
The El Cortez block is designated as a City and National Historical Site.
-
The view from the public streets, bridges and air needs to be preserved.
-
When “parcel 2” was created during the apartments to condo conversion, at least 199 nearby properties were not notified of the application and hearing.
-
Such a “wedding cake” of a building deserves to be enjoyed from all sides.
-
The proposed “parcel 2” 7-8 story building might look okay in the Gaslamp but not on Cortez Hill.
-
The building was restored using both public funds and income tax credits because its rehabilitation benefited the public and its neighborhood.
-
We are losing our history, especially in downtown San Diego.
-
“Save the El Cortez from the developer who saved it.”
